Designed by DMC Designs, Ballinrobe, this new build house commenced in June 2017 and took 13 months to complete. Full fill cavity (150mm) insulation used and finished in nap plaster with local stone on the front of the house. Large amount of glass at the rear of the house supplied by WRL in Galway. We took the build from foundation to builders finish.
Town
This 1960’s bungalow situated on the outskirts of Claremorris town was fully gutted and renovated to a turnkey finish. A 40 sq metre extension and 25 sq metre garage was constructed, fully rewired and plumped. The extension was built with a cavity wall and pumped with insulation. Windows and doors supplied by Grady’s Joinery.
Milltown
This A3 rated house was designed by Hubert Deane & Associates in Williamstown. Construction with a cavity wall and 110mm Kingpin insulation, it achieved a 1.9 airtightness score. Taken to a builders finish, the house was finished with underfloor heating and an air to water heat pump. Took just 13 months to complete.
Finns
Fully gutted a 1930’s bungalow and added a 1000 sq ft extension to the rear of the property. Stone walls were replaced with concrete blocks and new insulated slab floors, radon barrier and insulation were installed. External walls were metal studded, insulated and plastered. Entire house was re-plumbed and rewired with the windows and doors supplied by Grady Joinery.
Barnacarroll
This 40 sq metre extension, designed by O Conaire Consulting Engineers Ballindine, was constructed in 2017/18. Existing mass concrete extension was demolished to make way for a new cavity wall. House was replumbed and rewired, finished with underfloor heating and double height ceilings. Extensions windows were supplied by Jordan’s Windows.
Apartments
6 Apartments located in Claremorris ranging between 50 – 80 sq metres were vacant for 3 years before our team did a complete fit out. Work consisted of carpentry work, new kitchens, tiles and painting. Heating systems were upgraded to new energy efficient storage heating. The complete fit out took just 6 weeks.
Handball alley
Claremorris handball alley designed by Waldron & Associates, Claremorris was a full renovation. Fully gutted, old dressing rooms and viewing area were replaced with state of the art facilities and a new disabled toilet. A new junker sports floor was installed with a glass backdrop. Outside civil works were also carried out on behalf of the council.
Creche
Gratan Park creche in Claremorris consisted of two extensions to the existing creche a 20sq metre extension to the back and a 6 sq metre to the front. All works were completed in an 8 week timeframe while the creche was still operational. Ground works outside were also complete with new footpaths and ramps.
Dunmore
This period style 3000sq ft house located in Dunmore, Co. Galway was finished very uniquely. Work completed in the house consisted of 2nd fix carpentry, wall panelling and wainscotting. Liaised with client at all stages to achieve their vision of the house. Work was all completed in a 6 week timeframe in 2016.
Ballindine
This turnkey 30 sq metre extension was constructed in 2016. Extension designed by O Conaire Consulting Engineers was located in the middle of a row of terrace houses with limited access. Extension was constructed with a black cavity wall with 100mm insulation, all internal works were completed to the clients requirements. Windows and doors were supplied by Jordan Windows.
Ballindine
This large 50sq metre extension is currently underway in Ballindine, Co. Mayo. The turnkey finish house is due to achieve an A3 BER, all complete within a 4 month timeframe. House will be rewired, replumbed with an oil burned and radiators. Footpaths and ground works will also be complete in the timeframe. Windows and doors will be fitted by Munster Joinery.
Westport
Currently fully renovated a 1930’s bungalow with a large 1000sq ft extension added to the rear of the existing house. This dated house will be brought up to modern day living and regulations finished with polished concrete floors, aluclad windows and an Air to Water heat pump. Keys will be returned to the client with a turnkey finish.
